Turkish CEC Chairman: “There are no obstacles in the electoral process in Azerbaijan”

“We have been in Azerbaijan for several days. We are observing the election preparation process as well as today's parliamentary elections. We visited several polling stations today”, head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Turkey, Muharrem Akkaya told secki-2020.az.

According to him, currently a delegation led by him continues observations at polling stations: “The election process and voting are conducted quite normally. All the necessary conditions have been created. This is the first time that I observe the elections in Azerbaijan. There is no interference in the election process. We observe high voter turnout, despite the severe weather conditions. Azerbaijan is a fraternal country, and we do not consider ourselves a stranger in this country. We continue our observations at all polling stations. Cameras have been installed in all polling stations and no one is allowed to interfere in the election process.”
